Features: Silver star is a hardy perennial plant from the agave family. It is hardy and fairly drought and salt tolerant. It is easy to care for and has very few pests and diseases. It develops a thick multi stemmed base and has large sword shaped leaves. It is popular in landscaping and with its striking looks is often used as a garden feature. It produces large sprays of cream or white flowers in summer through to autumn. May be grown in full sun or part shade. Tolerates extreme temperature conditions and likes a well drained soil.
