Commonly known as brown silky oak.
The leaves on this tree have a rusty brown underside and in summer are complemented by sprays of honey scented cream coloured flowers.
It grows well on the eastern coast of Australia. Make sure trees are planted away from underground services as roots can be invasive. It may grow up to 10m tall and 4 m in diameter. It requires very little maintenance and grows well in most soil types. It grows well in part shade to full sun and may tolerate light frost.
